Article body
Marcus Andreasson completed a remarkable victory for Bryne FK by scoring the winner as they came from 3-0 down to win 4-3 against FK Bodø/Glimt in the Tippeligaen today.
Seven-goal thriller
The visitors looked to be cruising to victory inspired by their star striker Bengt Sæternes. He set up Vegard Sannes for the easiest of goals after only two minutes, while captain Stig Johansen curled in a great strike from 15 metres out to make it 2-0 after 28 minutes. Sæternes then set up the third when he supplied André Hansen for a simple finish, eight minutes after the break.
Stunning recovery
But Bryne responded swiftly. Peter Olofsson headed in from close range on 61 minutes, and seven minutes later Rune Medalen reduced the deficit to just one, when he beat Tor Egil Horn at the near post. Sæternes could have settled the game, but his effort crashed off the post soon after. Bodø held on until the last minute when a shot deflected wickedly off Dejan Pavlovic, and into their own goal, putting Bryne level. Central defender Andreasson completed the fightback three minutes into injury time, heading in from close range.
Winning start
Hrvoje Braovic took charge of SFK Lyn for his first game and they rewarded him with a hard-fought 1-0 away win at struggling Lillestrøm SK. Playmaker Jonny Hanssen found substitute Helgi Sigurdsson, and the Icelander slotted the ball in after 81 minutes.
Wonder goal
Stabæk IFclimbed into fourth place in the premier division after a convincing 2-0 win away against Vålerenga Fotball. Peter Sand scored a scrappy goal in the 19th minute, but the moment of the game came 14 minutes from time when Swede Christian Wilhelmsson danced his way through the home defence before chipping the ball over Vålerenga goalkeeper Morten Bakke.
