Defender Samir Beloufa signed a one-year contract with SC Bastia today after impressing during a ten-day trial with the Corsican club.
Trial period
The 22-year-old began his career in the French second division with AS Cannes before joining Milan AC in 1998. Beloufa was loaned to KFC Germinal Beerschot Antwerpen in December 2001 and played 46 matches for the Belgian first division club.
Cameroonian international
Bastia are also close to signing Cameroon midfield player Nicolas Alnoudji. The 22-year-old has represented his country on 25 occasions and played in the recent FIFA World Cup finals.
