With just two minutes left on the clock Magnus Olafsson floated over a corner into the penalty area. A scramble for possession ensued before Veigar Pall Gunnarsson stabbed the ball home from close range.

League leaders
The Reykjavík club have now extended their lead at the top of the table to four points.
