Article body
FC Haka failed to significantly close the gap on the Finnish first division top three after being held to a 1-1 home draw by struggling FC Hämeenlinna.
Shock lead
It could even have been worse for the 2000 champions after they fell behind to a 21st-minute Tomi Uusitorppa goal. However, 13 minutes later, Sami Ristila levelled the scores, but Haka could not find a winner against a side who have won just twice this season.
Fourth place
Haka move up to fourth with the draw, six points behind leaders Myllykosken Pallo-47, but with two games in hand on the leading trio, which also include FC Inter Turku and HJK Helsinki. Hämeenlinna move up one place to tenth in the 12-team division.
