Game in hand
Atlantas forward Martynas Karalius scored the winning goal after 22 minutes, his tenth strike of the season. But in addition to their four point lead at the summit, Kaunas still have a game in hand over second-placed Atlantas.
Second consecutive defeat
Third-placed FK Zalgiris Vilnius lost more ground on the leaders after a 1-0 defeat by SFK Sakalas. A late strike by Nerijus Astrauskas condemned Zalgiris to their second consecutive loss as they fell 16 points behind Kaunas.
