Article body
Brøndby beaten
Brøndby were made to pay for a lacklustre first-half showing by goals from Nicolai Stokholm, Heine Fernández and Michael Johansen.
'A catastrophe'
Brøndby coach Michael Laudrup described his team's performance as a "catastrophe", saying: "Everything was wrong in the first half; I don’t know how loud I shouted at half-time." Their sole reply came through Kasper Dalgas's consolation strike on 55 minutes.
København climb
Meanwhile, last season's runners-up, FC København, won 3-1 at newly-promoted Køge BK to join Akademisk on four points at the top of the table.
Leaving it late
However, København needed late goals from Peter Møller and Sibusiso Zuma to seal victory after a 75th-minute own goal by Bo Svensson had cancelled out Thomas Røll's opener for the visitors.
Poulsen restores pride
AGF Århus moved into third place after Morten Poulsen's second-half brace salvaged a point in a 2-2 home draw with Esbjerg fB. The visitors had led through Anders Christensen and Tommy Bechmann.
Silkeborg make a point
Elsewhere, Silkeborg IF remain bottom of the table despite an honourable 2-2 draw at Odense BK, earned by Iddi Alkhag's 74th-minute equaliser.
Farum first
New boys Farum claimed their first top-flight points thanks to two Jeppe Tengbjerg goals in a 3-2 home success over Viborg FF, while Morten Skoubo and Razak Pimpong condemned Aalborg BK to a 2-0 defeat at FC Midtjylland.
