Sweden round-up: Three win as Halmstad woe deepens

Members

Djurgårdens IF, Landskrona BoIS and IF Eflsborg all won on Thursday.

Djurgårdens IF won their derby match 3-0 at AIK Solna for the first time since 1995 and moved to within two points of second-placed Malmo FF in the Allsvenskan as a result.

Killer blow
Andreas Johansson opened the scoring for the visitors after 15 minutes and Louay Chanko doubled the advantage. The killer blow came when Kim K ällstrøm shot home a free-kick in the 73rd minute to secure the three points.

Landskrona climb
Landskrona BoIS moved back into the chasing pack by beating fellow championship hopefuls Örebro SK 3-1, Alexander Farnerud scoring twice. The result moves Landskrona into fourth, level with Örebro on points but ahead on goal difference.

More misery for Halmstad
IF Elfsborg added to Halmstads BK's misery when they won 1-0 through a 58th-minute goal from close range by Hasse Berggren. A dull game in Gothenburg saw IFK Göteborg grind out a 0-0 draw with GIF Sundsvall.
