Gorica shock
Dravograd's opportunity had arisen after leaders NK Koper lost 3-0 against NK Gorica on Saturday. A penalty from Ales Kokot was followed by two strikes from Ismet Ekmecic as Gorica, who now sit sixth in the table, maintained their unbeaten run.
Penalty pair
NK Maribor regained some of last season's championship form with a 3-0 home success against NK Korotan thanks to a Fabijan Cipot effort and two penalties from Samir Duro.
Virenje late show
Two goals in the last six minutes enabled NK Rudar Velenje to come from behind to beat visitors NK Publikum 2-1. Peter Koren had put Publikum ahead but Izudin Kamberovic's 84th-minute equaliser was swiftly followed by an Alen Mujanovic penalty as Velenje stole the points.
