Russian side FC Rostselmash Rostov-Na-Donu have replaced head coach Anatoly Baidachny with his assistant Sergey Balakhnin, who will serve as caretaker for the time being.
Baidachny arrival
Rostselmash are currently 14th in Russian Premier-Liga, with 16 points from 18 games. Balakhnin served as head coach in Rostov before Baidachny's arrival from FC Chernomorets Novorossiysk.
Stunning turnaround
Rostov have already played a game under Balakhnin, stunning PFC CSKA Moscow with a 3-2 home victory. "We are in a situation where we have nothing to lose. It is great that we won this game, this is a great psychological aid to us," Balakhnin said after that encounter. Under Baidachy, Rostselmash lost their previous league fixture, also to CSKA, 5-1.
