Skonto bolster with Lagewski

Latvian champions FC Skonto have signed Poland Under-19 defender Kzsistof Lagewskia on a three-year deal.

International recognition
The 19-year-old, who has played in the Polish first division, has collected caps at Under-17 and Under-19 level, and has made one appearance for the Under-21 side.

"We will rely on him"
“We have watched this physical central defender for a long time," Skonto coach Aleksandrs Starkovs said. "We decided to sign him, and I will be relying on him this season after he takes some time to adapt.”
