Paz picked by Petach-Tikva

Maccabi Petach-Tikva have signed the former Uruguay striker Adrian Paz from Colorado Rapids.

Title hope
The 32-year-old has been acquired to help boost Petach-Tikva’s hopes of challenging for the title in the Israeli Premier League. Paz, capped 25 times by his country, has just finished a five-year spell in the United States.

One-year contract
Paz, who has also played in England with Ipswich Town FC, has signed a one-year contract. He has already taken part in his first training session with his new team-mates.
