Gorica thrashed their fourth division opponents, with Vanja Starcevic scoring twice and Mladen Kovac, Ales Kokot, Sasa Panic, Ehad Goga, Darko Kremenovic and Simon Zivec also on target.
Nafta shock
Meanwhile, second division club NK Nafta caused something of a shock as they beat top-flight outfit NK Primorje 2-1 in hard-fought encounter.
Huge margin
NK Mura also won by a huge margin, defeating Bled 9-1 in their first round encounter. Simon Dvorsak and Sebastjan Vogrincic both scored twice, while Alen Mesaric, Viktor Tremevski, Vladimir Kozulj and Franc Cifer added to the tally. Tancar scored Bled's solitary goal eight minutes after the interval but by then they were already 5-0 down.
Goals galore
NK Dravograd put eight past Feroterm Pohorje without reply thanks largely to a Oskar Drobne hat-trick, while NK Domzale hit NK Tisina for six, as Ljiljana Pandza also scored a second-half treble. NK Publikum beat NK Vransko 6-1 with six different scorers and NK Aluminij were also six goals to the good before NK Stojnci scored their late consolation.
Penalty drama
There was drama in Prevalje, as NK Korotan beat top-flight rivals NK Koper 6-4 on penalties after their first round match ended 1-1 in the Korotan stadium. Bostjan Grizold gave the hosts the lead on 84 minutes, but Koper's Patrik Ipavec equalised in the final minute of a thrilling match.
Šmartno advance
Elsewhere, NK Šmartno overcame NK Livar by the odd goal in three, while NK Zeleznicar beat PSC Tolmin 3-0 at home. NK Avtoplus Korte advanced to the second round with a hard-fought win against NK Bilje, but NK Olimpija Ljubljana made light work of NK Bela Krajina, securing a stylish 5-1 scoreline.
Ljubljana victorious
Jadran Sepic also booked a second round berth thanks to their 2-1 victory over NK Crenstrovci but NK Krsko Posavlje bowed out at the first hurdle following their 3-0 home defeat against NK Ljubljana.
