CU Bohemians Praha have sacked coach Vladimír Borovicka after a fourth consecutive loss.

CU Bohemians Praha have sacked their coach Vladimír Borovicka after a fourth consecutive defeat of the season at the weekend.

Lost seven out of eight
The 48-year-old was appointed coach of Bohemians towards the end of last season following the dismissal of Vlastimil Petrzela, but the team have lost seven out of eight matches under his guidance. Borovicka's sole victory was, surprisingly, against last season's champions Slovan Liberec on the final day of the campaign. Bohemians are bottom of the Czech first division without a point this season despite having played three of their four games at home.

Hrebík to take over?
Bohemians' assistant coach, Dusan Uhrin, the son of the coach of the same name who took the Czech Republic to the final of EURO 96™, will take over as caretaker coach. Jaroslav Hrebík, who was dismissed by AC Sparta Praha before the end of last season, has been touted as Borovicka´s successor and will meet the club management on Wednesday.
