Rasmussen rides in at Helsingborg

Defender Kenneth Rasmussen has brought an end to a decade’s service with Danish champions Brøndby IF by signing a two-and-a-half-year deal with Swedish side Helsingborgs IF.

Early debut
Rasmussen could make his debut as early as Monday against Landskrona BoIS following an injury to first-choice centre-back Jozo Matovacs.

A former striker
The 28-year-old, who had put pen to paper on a new three-year contract with Brøndby in May 2001, started his career as a striker and is renowned for his pace and ability to read the game. Helsingborgs currently lie in fifth place in the Swedish first division.
