Members

FC Politehnica AEK Timisoara took top spot after Saturday's 1-0 win against FC Arges-Dacia Pitesti.

Three in three
Mihai Nicolai's 35th-minute penalty was enough for the hosts who made it three wins from three games at the start of the new season.

Tofan on target
CS Otelul Galati had Catalin Tofan to thank for the points after his 59th-minute effort saw off CF Gloria Bistrita 1922. The visitors' misery was completed when Romica Ceausu was sent off 10 minutes later.

Joy for Farul
FC Farul Constanta also emerged with a 1-0 home success against FC UTA Arad. The away team, who remain pointless, were undone by Ianis Zicu's 66th-minute goal.

Dinamo draw
FC Dinamo Bucuresti and FCM Bacau shared the points after a 1-1 draw in the capital. Ionel Danciulescu had given the home side the lead two minutes before the break but a 65th-minute penalty from Catalin Cursaru earned the visitors their reward.

Astra held
The match between Astra Ploiesti and FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt also finished honours even after a 2-2 draw. Ciprian Toporan scored twice for the hosts but his strikes weren't enough as Adrian Solomon and Cristian Luput added their own efforts for Ceahlaul.
