FC Farul Constanta also emerged with a 1-0 home success against FC UTA Arad. The away team, who remain pointless, were undone by Ianis Zicu's 66th-minute goal.
Dinamo draw
FC Dinamo Bucuresti and FCM Bacau shared the points after a 1-1 draw in the capital. Ionel Danciulescu had given the home side the lead two minutes before the break but a 65th-minute penalty from Catalin Cursaru earned the visitors their reward.
