Kaunas took an early lead through Andrius Velicka, who brought his season's tally to 18 goals. Andrius Tereskinas equalised for Zalgiris just before the break, but Tadas Papeckys scored twice after the break to secure the victory for Kaunas before Giedrius Barevicius completed the scoring for Zalgiris.

Elsewhere, FK Nevézis drew 1-1 with FK Gelezinis-Vilkas, a result mirrored in the game between FK Inkaras and FK Sakalas.
