ÍA stay on track
The point helps ÍA to stay on trail of the league leaders in fifth place, while Fram continue to struggle one place off the bottom of the table.

Red card
Halfdan Gislason scored for ÍA after 28 minutes, before Agust Gylfason equalized from the spot after substitute Kristjan Brooks was felled by Gunnlaugur Jonsson. Captain Jonsson was sent off for the foul and will his side's next game, against ÍBV Vestmannæyjar in Vestmannaeyjar on 15 September.

Heavy rain
There will now be four matches on Monday after the games between FH Hafnarfjördur and Keflavík, Grindavík and KA Akureyri, and KR Reykjavík and ÍBV were postponed due to heavy rain.
