Mijatovic returns to Spain

Yugoslavia striker Predrag Mijatovic has joined Spanish second division side Levante UD.

One-year deal
The 33-year-old Montenegrin, who was left out of the Yugoslavia squad for Friday's friendly against the Czech Republic, had been without a club since leaving AC Fiorentina at the end of last season. The former Real Madrid CF player, who scored the winning goal in the Spanish side's 1-0 win over Juventus in the 1998 UEFA Champions League final, has signed a 12-month deal with his new club.

Levante were relegated from the second division last season, but were later reinstated after Real Burgos CF were forced to drop out because of financial problems.
