Article body
Vjeran Simunic, the NK Kamen Ingrad Velika coach, has stepped down from his post to join NK Zadarkomerc despite a sound start to the Croatian Premier League season.
One defeat in six
In the six games thus far, Kamen have lost only once and are in eighth position in the table, a fair effort for a small club from Velika. However, Simunic decided to move to Zadarkomerc who lost their coach, Stanko Mrsic, a few days ago.
Family reasons
"I have resigned because I don't feel the same motivation at Velika anymore," Simunic said, "and also in Zadar I will be much closer to my family." Simunic's assistant, Milan Tomljenovic, will take over at Kamen until a new coach has been found, club officials announced.
