Upset of the night
Ekranas, who are currently third in A Lyga, were beaten 2-0 by first division leaders FK Vetra. Vetra had a player sent off at the start of the second half, but Vytautas Karvelis and Jurij Kleimionov scored twice to secure the biggest upset of the night.
Thrilling match
Meanwhile, Sakalas succumbed 4-3 after a thrilling match against first division side FK Laisve. Maksim Aliluev starred for the triumphant underdogs, completing a hat-trick while English forward Adebayo Akinfenwa was also on target.
Holders beat Dainava
Elsewhere, cup holders FBK Kaunas beat FK Dainava 2-0, while FK Inkaras celebrated a hard-fought 2-1 victory against FK Suduva.
