Article body
The former PFC Slavia Sofia coach Georgi Haralampiev has been appointed coach of PFC Dobrudzha Dobrich, replacing Eduard Eranosyan, who resigned just hours before Dobrudzha’s 5-0 defeat by PFC Lokomotiv Sofia last Wednesday.
Losing start
"I wanted to find a famous coach to take over the club," Velichko Naydenov, the Dobrudzha president, said. "I knew it would be hard because of the situation we are in, but I think that we found the perfect man nevertheless." Haralampiev got off to a less than perfect start, however, losing his first game in charge 9-1 to PFC Lokomotiv Plovdiv on Saturday.
Difficult task
Haralampiev now has the unenviable task of maintaining Dobrudzha's top-flight status as the club are currently bottom of the Bulgarian Professional League, without a point from six games.
