The leaders kept up their winning form as all top three clubs recorded weekend victories.

The Lithuanian first division leaders kept up their winning form as all top three clubs - FBK Kaunas, FK Atlantas and FK Ekranas - recorded victories at the weekend.

Six-point advantage
FBK Kaunas maintained their six-point advantage at the top as they beat KASK FK Gelezinis Vilkas, 2-0, with Remigijus Pocius and Gintaras Juodeikis recording goals.

Karalius winner
FK Atlantas, meanwhile, won 2-1 at FK Inkaras. English striker Adebayo Akinfenwa gave Atlantas the lead on 56 minutes, and although Mantas Sernius equalised with quarter of an hour to go, Martynas Karalius put Atlantas back ahead four minutes later.

Ekranas see off rivals
FK Ekranas reinforced their bid for third place, overcoming main rivals FK Zalgiris Vilnius 3-2. Visitors Ekranas came from behind twice, with all three of their goals coming from Mantas Savenas. Andzuey Sivinski and Giedrius Barevicius had both put Zalgiris ahead.

Vital Nevézis victory
Basement club FK Nevézis recorded only their second victory in the tournament as they beat UEFA Cup participants FK Suduva 1-0. Vigintas Godelis's strike on the stroke of full time earned the victory for Nevézisto take them to within four points of KASK FK Gelezinis Vilkas in the race to escape the one automatic relegation place.
