FC Pyunik made it 12 wins out of 12 fixtures, as a 5-0 win against FC Dinamo-2000 Yerevan kept the defending champions' Armenian Premier Division lead at seven points.
Karamyan hat-trick
Arman Karamyan scored a hat-trick for the runaway leaders, who are now averaging nearly four goals every game, having scored 46 and conceded just five. Dinamo are tenth but still comfortably ahead of the bottom two.
Shirak keep up pressure
Unbeaten FC Shirak were also celebrating after an important away victory against FC MIKA. Second-placed Shirak dominated the game, but on 54 minutes Ararat Harutunyan saw his penalty saved by Felix Hakobyan. However, Shirak broke the deadlock with two minutes to go, when Karen Aleksanyan's perfect cross found substitute Vardan Bichakhyan, who applied an excellent finish.
Zvarnots depleted
FC Lernagorts stunned FC Zvartnots AAL, coming from behind to earn a surprise 2-1 victory. While Zvarnots, facing a financial crisis, had to put up with absence of several key players, who were on strike over unpaid wages, Lernagorts were determined to create an upset. However, Zvarnots looked set to win after Mikael Kasaboglyan gave them a lead on 63 minutes. But Hakob Mamulyan levelled the scored just three minutes later, and Romik Simonyan then beat Gevorg Kasparov in the Zvarnots goal to seal the victory for Lernagorts.
Banants win Yerevan meeting
In the capital derby, FC Spartak Yerevan succumbed to FC Banants 1-0. Banants were the more aggressive side throughout the game, and Tigran Yesayan seal the victory with a 38-minute strike. The victory allowed Banants draw level with their rivals on points, Spartak in third place on goal difference.
Basement blank
Elsewhere, the bottom two both drew a blank, as FC Ararat Yerevan beat FSC Lori 5-1 and FC Lernayin Artsakh overcame FC Kotayk 2-0.
