PFC CSKA Sofia's perfect Bulgarian Premier League start shows no sign of ending after they beat PFC Marek Dupnitza 5-2.
Gargorov keeps scoring
Bulgarian Under-21 captain Emil Gargorov gave CSKA a dream start when he scored in the second minute, Artim Sakiri adding a second from the penalty spot. Amiran Mudzhiri clawed one back for Marek in the 21st minute, but goals early in the second half from Sakiri and Agnaldo gave CSKA a 4-1 lead. On-form Gargorov scored his second from a penalty in the 57th minute, having registered two goals as a substitute in CSKA's Thursday's UEFA Cup game against Blackburn Rovers FC. Krum Bibishkov scored a second for Marek 19 minutes from the end.
Vava the star
PFC Levski Sofia and PFC Litex Lovech both also won on Sunday to make up the rest of top three after their midweek UEFA Cup exploits. Levski - who knocked out Brøndby IF - defeated PFC Spartak Varna 2-0 away from home. Brazilian Vava scored the first and made the second, as Nikolay Stanchev missed a penalty for Spartak.
Graf goal
Meanwhile, Litex, beaten by Panathinaikos FC on Thursday, won 1-0 at PFC Rilski Sportist Samokov, the only goal being scored by Claudio Graf in the 17th minute. PFC Slavia Sofia's goalless derby draw against PFC Lokomotiv Sofia ensured third place for Litex.
Strugglers win
PFC Botev Plovdiv overcame PFC Naftex Burgas 2-1, to achieve their second win this season - both away from home. Plamen Timnev put the home side ahead, but Milen Kunchev and Ivan Karamov gave the visitors victory.
