Leaving it late
However, the defending champions needed two goals in the last ten minutes from Radu Sabo and Zsolt Csóka to claim the points after a second-half fightback by bottom club Békéscsaba. Romanian forward Sabo struck on 83 minutes before Csóka made sure of victory from Krisztián Kenesei's last-minute corner.
BEFC fightback
ZTE had led through first-half goals from István Faragó and Otto Vincze at the Puskás Ferenc stadium. But the visitors threatened to steal a point when András Keresztúri took advantage of a defensive error to score on 77 minutes, and then Richárd Hoffmann brought them level moments later with a long-range effort.
How they stand
ZTE climbed to seventh place in the first division, with BEFC staying 12th having taken just three points from eleven games.
