Thigh's the limit
The 26-year-old former Udinese Calcio man lasted only seven minutes of Sunday's 2-0 defeat against Internazionale FC and tests today confirmed that he had strained muscles in his left thigh.
Casualty list
Locatelli's absence is a blow to Bologna coach Francesco Guidolin, who is already without defender Giulio Falcone and midfield player Renato Olive with knee ligament and thigh injuries respectively. Falcone is out for four months, though Olive could be back by November.
Signori hope
Meanwhile, club captain Giuseppe Signori has recovered from a knee problem and could feature in Saturday's league game at Udinese. Bologna lie fifth in Serie A with three wins from six matches.
