Article body
FK Nevézis have been relegated from the Lithuanian first division after a 1-0 defeat by the only side they could catch, KASK FK Gelezinis Vilkas.
Play-off for Gelezinis Vilkas
Nerijus Sasnauskas scored the decisive goal on 70 minutes, taking the home side six points clear of Nevézis, who have two games left, but will definitely finish last due to their inferior record in matches against Gelezinis Vilkas, who will instead meet the second division runners-up for the remaining place in next season's top flight.
Ekranas boost
FK Ekranas now look likely to finish third thanks to a 1-0 victory at FK Suduva. Aurimas Kucys scored in the first half to secure Ekranas a ten-point lead over fourth-placed FK Zalgiris Vilnius, although the capital side have two games in hand.
LFF consider action
However, Zalgiris could face action from the Lithuanian Football Federation (LFF) after failing to turn up for their match against champions-elect FBK Kaunas. The LFF will rule this week.
Sunday draw
SFK Sakalas and FK Inkaras played out a 1-1 draw in Sunday's match. Nerijus Astrauskas put Sakalas in the lead on 12 minutes, but Vidas Kauspadas's spot-kick levelled the game two minutes before the break.
