Varazdat Avetisian scored the only goal of the game two minutes before half-time to clinch victory for the visitors.

Five-point gap
Second-placed Banants are now within five points of leaders FC Pyunik, although the table-toppers have four games left, one more than their closest challengers. FC Shirak are three points behind Banants, but still have five matches to play.
