FC København extended their lead at the top of the table as they recorded a narrow 2-1 win over Silkeborg IF, while Aalborg BK lost t home against AGF Aarhus by the same scoreline.

One-way traffic
FCK had to wait 51 minutes before Bo Svensson gave them the lead against the bottom club, but from then on it was one-way traffic. Sibusiso Zuma doubled his side's advantage on 71 minutes rendering Urmas Rooba's own goal as nothing more than a consolation for Silkeborg.

AGF strike back
On Friday night, Aalborg looked in control of their match against Aarhus when Michael Silberbauer gave them the lead after 18 minutes. However, AGF struck back immediately and earned a valuable victory when Alex Nørlund scored a spectacular goal on the hour to push the Aarhus club into sixth spot in the table.

Sensational win
Brøndby IF missed their chance to move up the table as visiting Køge BK secured a sensational 2-1 win in Copenhagen. Things seemed to be going according to plan when Peter Madsen gave Brøndby the lead after only eight minutes, but the hosts failed to make the most of their chances and after Anders Clausen had restored parity, Allan Nilsen sealed all three points for Køge in added time.

Esbjerg move up
Brøndby's defeat allowed Esbjerg fB to move into third spot as they recorded a comfortable 2-1 win against Akademisk Blodklub in Gladsaxe. Esbjerg looked in control throughout with Jerry Lucena and Jess Thorup getting on the scoresheet for the visitors before Palle Sørensen clawed one back for the hosts in the closing stages.

Midtjylland hit form
Finally, a last-gasp effort by Frank Kristensen gave UEFA Cup contenders FC Midtjylland victory over Farum and maintained his side's inspirational form following their surprise draw against NK Varteks on Thursday night.
