Champions FC Pyunik took another step closer to retaining their title following a 5-0 demolition of nearest rivals FC Shirak.
Karamyan hat-trick
Arman Karamyan set Pyunik on the road to victory with a stunning hat-trick. His first came after eleven minutes when Miguel Cisterna set up the striker and he virtually sealed the result before the break with another goal before Vardan Minsyan made it 3-0.
Teenager hits fifth
Karamyan scored his third after the break and 15-year-old forward Edgar Manucharyan made it a day to remember with the fifth. Goalkeeper Andranik Karagezyan then saved penalty from Shirak’s Ararat Harutunyan.
Spartak win
Elsewhere, FC Yerevan beat FC Zvarnots AAL 3-0, with the goals coming from Ara Hakobyan, Andranik Zananzanyan and Aram Hakobyan. FC MIKA overcame FC Kotaik 3-1, while FC Banants defeated FC Dinamo-2000 Yerevan 3-0. FC Ararat Yerevan beat FC Lernayin Artsakh 5-0 and FC Lernagorts recorded the same scoreline against FC Lori.
