After only 13 rounds of the Croatian Prva HNL league season, NK Osijek have announced their third coach of the campaign - Stanko Poklepovic.
Bilic departure
Poklepovic takes over from Vlado Bilic who failed to inspire the team after replacing the sacked Milan Djuricic earlier in the season. "I have finished my career abroad and I wanted to work again in Croatia," said Poklepovic.
Poklepovic on mission
"I have been following Osijek's matches for some time, but only after their last loss against [NK] Dinamo Zagreb did contact became serious and I took up the offer," he continued. "I am no Messiah, but I do have a mission." Poklepovic previously coached Osijek three years' ago and will aim to raise the club from their current position of ninth.
