FK Tikves coach Perica Gruevski has resigned following his side's 2-0 home defeat against FK Sloga Jugomagnat in quarter-finals of the F.Y.R Macedonia Cup.
Poor financial situation
Gruevski explained that the reason for his resignation was the poor financial situation at the club but Tikves director Sasko Tasev then revealed that he was planning to sack his coach after Wednesday's defeat.
Iliev in charge
Gruevski's assistant, Lazar Iliev, has been named as his successor and will take charge of the first team for Sunday's match against leaders FK Vardar.
