Tait walks out on Nea Salamis

Midfield player Paul Tait has left Cypriot club Nea Salamis FC following a disagreement with coach Takis Antoniou.

Increasingly frustrated
The 31-year-old former Birmingham City FC player had become increasingly frustrated at being played out of position by Antoniou, prompting him to terminate his contract with the Division A club by mutual consent.

Not bitter
In an official club statement, Tait extended his thanks to the players, staff and supporters of the club and wished them "every success for the future".
