Slovakia-England case postponed

Cases

The UEFA disciplinary case focusing on the UEFA EURO 2004™ qualifier will be heard in December.

Further investigations
European football's governing body said in a statement that following a detailed submission by the English Football Association (FA), the case would now be heard on 17 December, after the UEFA Control and Disciplinary Body decided on Thursday to ask a disciplinary inspector to conduct further investigations into an alleged lack of organisation by the Slovakian Football Association at the match, which England won 2-1.

Global decision
The Control and Disciplinary Body requested that the case be postponed "in order to reach a global decision with respect to all charges against the Slovakian Football Association, i.e. lack of organisation, racism and lack of order and discipline in the stadium."

Crowd disturbance charges
Crowd disturbance charges against the English FA in the case will also be dealt with on 17 December. "The charge (...) has to be considered in relation to the issue of organisation in the stadium," the UEFA statement said.
