Four goals for Wieghorst
Morten Wieghorst was the man to watch in Brøndby as he scored no less than four times after David Rasmussen had cancelled out Thomas Kahlenberg's opening goal. Aurelius Skarbalius rounded off the goal spree in the final minute.
Christiansen on target
FCK looked like they were on their way towards a slim win against AaB thanks to Todi Jönsson's opener but Christian Christiansen struck a clinical equaliser from the edge of the box to give the hosts at a share of the spoils in an entertaining encounter.
Viborg climb the table
Viborg FF recorded a superb 4-1 win against Esbjerg fB. Klaus Kjærgaard, Christian Keller, Søren Frederiksen and Asbjørn Sennels blasted them into a 4-0 lead. Anders Møller Christensen scored a consolation goal shortly before the end.
Goals aplenty
There was plenty of entertainment as Køge BK demonstrated impressive away form with a 4-3 win against Silkeborg IF. The visitors led 3-0 at the interval thanks to goals from Henrik Madsen, Martin Borre and Allan Nielsen but two goals from Jesper Thygesen gave the hosts a glimmer of hope. Borre scored his second of the afternoon to seal the three points and Bo Nielsen then added a further consolation goal shortly before the end.
AGF in poor form
AGF Århus once again looked below-par as they lost 3-1 at the hands of Akademisk Boldklub. Christian Karlsson and Nikolai Stokholm gave AB a 2-1 lead before Alex Nørlund gave the visitors a lifeline on the hour mark. However Mohammed Zidan made sure of the win for AB with a third goal four minutes from the end.
Pedersen seals Odense win
Finally, Odense BK took the honours 1-0 in a drab match against FC Midtjylland. Claus Pedersen's 83rd-minute effort moved OB up to sixth place.
