Article body
Versatile midfield player
CSKA, who lost the title play-off to FC Lokomotiv Moskva in November, have been low-key in the transfer market so far. However, the arrival of the versatile midfield player, who usually plays on the left wing, will be a useful addition to Valeri Gazzaev's squad.
International pedigree
Laktionov is a Russian international, having made a number of friendly appearances, and was also capped at Under-21 level. He was called up by Oleg Romantsev to the Russian squad before the FIFA World Cup earlier this year, but a groin injury prevented him staking his claim for a place in Korea/Japan.
Career details
Laktionov, a native of the eastern Russian island of Sakhalin started his professional career in the second division with FC Sakhalin, where he scored 25 goals over two seasons. After joining Samsung in 1996, he scored over 50 goals in seven seasons in the Korean league.
