SK Tirana increased their lead at the top of the Albanian First Division to four points with a 4-1 win against KS Besëlidhja on Saturday.
Quick goals
The scores were level at half-time after Besëlidhja's Edmond Doci had cancelled out Fjodor Xhafa's fifth-minute goal, but three goals in the nine minutes which followed the interval swung the game in Tirana's favour, Rudi Vata and Suad Lici doing the damage before Xhafa grabbed his second.
Bejzade beauty
Second-placed KF Partizani could only manage a 0-0 draw at KS Flamurtari, enabling KS Vllaznia to move level on points in third place after their 2-1 win against KS Elbasani. Vioresin Sinani put Vllaznia ahead from the penalty spot after eleven minutes and although Gentian Stojku levelled matters shortly after half-time, Skerdi Bejzade's fine 78th-minute strike sealed the victory.
