Article body
The Italian Football League has closed Como Calcio's Sinigaglia stadium for four matches and awarded a default victory to Udinese Calcio after crowd trouble forced the abandonment of the sides' Serie A match on Wednesday.
Three penalties
Home supporters threw flares and other dangerous objects and tried to force their way on to the pitch after referee Massimiliano Saccani awarded Udinese their third penalty of the match. Udinese were leading 1-0 at the time but have been awarded a 2-0 victory.
Bottom club
Como will now have to play their next four home matches - against Atalanta BC, AS Roma, AC Parma and Juventus FC - at a neutral venue. Como are bottom of the Serie A table and have not won in the league this season.
