Ronaldinho missed a penalty as Paris Saint-Germain FC were held to a 1-1 draw by FC Girondins de Bordeaux.

Brazilian Ronaldinho missed an 85th-minute penalty as Paris Saint-Germain FC were held to a 1-1 draw by FC Girondins de Bordeaux in a French Ligue 1 match at the Parc de Princes on Thursday night.

Ramé save
The home side squandered the chance to snatch all three points when Bordeaux goalkeeper Ulrich Ramé saved playmaker Ronaldinho's spot kick. PSG had opened the scoring thanks to striker Fabrice Fiorese who took advantage of an error by defender David Jemmali to net a cross shot in the 12th minute.

Feindouno goal
But Bordeaux, who beat former leaders OGC Nice 4-0 last weekend, hit back with a goal by youngster Pascal Feindouno five minutes before the interval. The visitors finished with ten men after defender Marco Caneira head-butted Fiorese with four minutes to go and was sent off.

Fernandez job safe
PSG have won just one of their last eight outings and Thursday's draw leaves them eighth in the table, six points behind leaders Olympique de Marseille, who have a home fixture against in-form Monaco on Friday. However earlier on Thursday, Xavier Couture, the president of PSG's main shareholders Canal+, said that PSG coach Luis Fernandez will keep his job until the end of the season at least.
