Karamian twins tempted by Panahaiki

Panahaiki GC have signed the Karamian twins from Armenian champions FC Pyunik.

Struggling Greek side Panahaiki GC have signed two of Armenia's best players, the Karamian twins, from Armenian champions FC Pyunik.

Individual success
Striker Arman, the country's player of the year, and 23-year-old midfield player Artavazd, who was voted second behind his brother in the poll, have both signed one-year deals with the Patras club, and cost a combined fee of €117,388. They were signed on the recommendation of former Panahaiki coach Elias Armodoros.

Goalscoring prowess
Arman scored 45 goals in all competitions last season and Artavazd added 19 as Pyunik clinched the title. The pair now have the task of helping Panahaiki climb off the bottom of the Alpha Ethniki table, as the club have collected just five points from 13 matches so far this season.
