New beginning
The 26-year-old has signed a contract until summer 2005, although the fee involved has not been disclosed. Lindrup struggled to make an impact under Michael Laudrup at Brøndby this season and is delighted to have the opportunity of a new start.
Hopeful for future
"It's a great feeling to have signed a contract with a club with so much football tradition behind it," he said. "I hope to be a key figure in bringing more success to the club in the spring season."
European experience
Lindrup had been in and out of the Brøndby team and had considered a move abroad before Odense came in for his services. His new coach Uffe Petersen was happy to have completed the signing of the left-sided midfield player who appeared in both legs of Brøndby's UEFA Champions League third qualifying round defeat by Rosenborg BK this season.
Coach pleased
"The addition of a player of such calibre to our team is a delayed Christmas present to our fans," Petersen said. "He's got amazing potential and will no doubt strengthen our offensive efforts."
