FC Dinamo Moskva’s hectic activity in the transfer market shows no signs of abating, as they signed a further four players over the weekend.
Welcome return
Midfield player Erik Korchagin returns to Russia after eight years, having signed for AS Saint-Etienne when he was 16. The former Russian Under-17 international spent two years in the French side’s youth and reserve teams, before going on to have spells with PSV Eindhoven, MVV Maastricht and Akademisk Boldklub. He has been a free agent since his contract expired in 2002.
Remodelled defence
Brazilian defender Gustavo has also moved to Dinamo, joining fellow countryman and Brazilian league top scorer Alberto, another recent signing. 22-year-old Senegalese defender Pascal Mendy will be joining from ASC Jeanne D’Arc. Finally, Slovakian international defender Mihailo Hanek will complete Dinamo’s new-look defensive line-up, having agreed a three-year contract to join from FK ZTS Dubnica of Slovakia.
Further transfers
23-year-old Roman Uzdenov of Russian side FC Spartak Nalchik will be joining and is likely to take the place of former Russian international Alexander Panov, who has been transfer-listed. Dinamo have now bought eleven players since the end of the Russian Premier League season.
