Third division move
Mechelen, will now drop into the Belgian third division next season after giving up their Pro Licence due to other liabilities, having secured their continued membership of the Belgian Football Association, avoiding the fate of now-defunct RWD Molenbeek.
Final payment
Their final payment was for €110,000 to Sporting Lokeren St-Niklaas Waaslan for Boeka Lisasi, who is now at R. Charleroi SC. Mechelen, bottom of the first division, will fulfil their top-flight fixtures before dropping in the summer.
