Favourable impression
The Chilean international has been on trial with the Rotterdam club at their training camp in Spain. The 24-year-old midfield player appeared in three friendly matches and made a favourable enough impression on coach Bert van Marwijk to earn a contract until summer 2006.
Agreement reached
Meanwhile, Korean Republic midfield player Nam-Il Kim will stay in the Netherlands this season after Feyenoord reached an agreement with K-League side Chun-nam Dragons for Kim to play until the end of the season for their feeder side, SC Excelsior.
