Zúbek checks in at Lommel

Time to leave
The 27-year-old international had spent his entire career at 1. FC Brno, but will now play for Lommel until the end of the season. "I needed a change after twenty years at Brno," said the defender, who has played 221 league games for the Czech club.

Second new face
Zúbek, capped three times by his country, will join compatriots Vít Valenta and Richard Culek at Lommel. All will be hoping 16th-placed Lommel can avoid the drop, although they are just two points away from last place. Lommel have also signed Danish striker Marc Nygaard this week from Roda JC in the Netherlands.
