Groclin sign prolific Pole

Members

KS Groclin Grodzisk Wielkopolski have signed international forward Andrzej Niedzielan.

New faces
Earlier this month, the club signed midfield players Piotr Rocki and Jan Wos but they have now gone for extra firepower and added steel at the back. Niedzielan has moved from Ekstraklasa rivals KS Górnik Zabrze while Krizanec, who was on loan at Górnik in the autumn, has left AC Sparta Praha in the Czech Republic.

Great form
Niedzielan, who made his debut for Poland in November as a substitute in the 2-0 friendly defeat by Denmark, scored 15 goals in 15 games for Górnik before the winter break. He has been loaned until December, but Groclin have agreed a four-year contract and can make the move permanent if they want.

Chance to shine
"Niedzielan has been loaned for one year with an option to buy," said general manager Wladyslaw Kowalik of the 23-year-old who had attracted interest from German clubs. "He has signed a four-year deal and if he proves himself we will buy him."

Leaving Sparta
Krizanec had impressed at Górnik but a permanent deal could not be agreed with Sparta. Groclin stepped in and have given the 23-year-old an 18-month contract.
