The 30-year-old defender has signed a one-and-a-half-year deal with the Ekstraklasa newcomers after cutting his ties with Polonia, the club he joined over four years ago and helped to win the league title in 2000.
Relegation fighters
To secure the move to his hometown club, Kaliszan had to give up moneys owed to him by Polonia, who will be Lech's rivals in the relegation pool when the Polish top flight returns to action in the spring. Lech lie tenth in the table at the winter break with Polonia two places below in 12th.
