Dragan Lacmanovic has been named as the new coach of Yugoslav First League strugglers FK Mogren.

Dragan Lacmanovic has been named as the new coach of Prva Savezna Fudbalska Liga strugglers FK Mogren.

Off to Montenegro
The former Yugoslavian international midfield player, who played FK Zemun and FK Crvena Zvezda during his career, has immediately moved to the seaside town of Budva in Montenegro to take charge of the team, who have won just two games in the league all season.

Kadijas to assist
Lacmanovic replaces Stevan Mojsilovic, who resigned as coach of Mogren to take up a scouting post at Crvena Zvezda. The new coach, who has previously been in charge of FK Obilic and Zemun, has signed an 18-month contract at the club and has named Zeljko Kadijas as his assistant.

'We believe in him'
"Lacmanovic is one of the best and most popular domestic coaches," said Mogren director Boro Lazovic. "We are happy because he is ready to work at our club and we believe in him.  He said to me that he could only guarantee good work and that is enough at the moment."

'Impossible mission'
"This will be real challenge," Lacmanovic admitted. "Mogren are in 17th position and we have only got a slender chance of staying in the Prva Savezna Liga. But, sometimes in life, you must do difficult jobs; this is something like an impossible mission."
