Praise for Paterson
He said: "I saw Aberdeen play Celtic [FC] recently and already you can see the manager has made an impression at Pittodrie. I'm an honest, hard-working player and will give everything I have for my new team."
Further signings
Paterson is hoping to make two further signings before heading to Portugal and added: "Steven brings a lot of experience to my squad as well as no little skill. He played really well for Livingston last season and showed he can handle playing at the top level in Scotland."
