Leeds United AFC have responded to Jonathan Woodgate's departure to Leeds United AFC by signing Raúl Bravo on loan from Real Madrid CF until the end of the season.
Versatile player
The deal does not include the option of a permanent transfer for Bravo, a product of Madrid's youth system, who will fly to England to join the Leeds squad next week. Bravo, who can play both at left-back and in left midfield, has appeared only six times this season for Madrid where he faces stiff competition for a first-team place from the Brazilian Roberto Carlos.
Spanish international
However, he has an admirer in Spain coach Iñaki Sáez who handed him his international debut against Hungary last August. At 21, Bravo is considered one of the brightest young talents in Spanish football.
